This is done similar to "The Emerald Dragon" [link] . I started with a photo of a ceramic I had painted. I no longer have this ceramic wizard anymore. Last I heard, he was in Munich, Germany.

Critique and comments welcome.

*huge grins*

Cool..... very cool. Not quite as much do I like it as I did the dragon...

but then, I have a thing for dragons. (yeah, I like wizards... but I don't like yellow)

Good job anyway though. :D (Big Grin)

Man . . . wizards are so cool . . . This is an awesome piece!!! I think if you released a series of gradients and different hues, it'd make an awesome print. Maybe throw in some cool wizard-hat or something and some starry-night background and it'd be . . . well, it'd be sick=P (Razz) But I REALLY like this; props to you.

Reminded me of the dragon picture when I saw the thumbnail. It's got the same mysterious half-vanishing-in-the-mists look. Very nicely done!

This is pretty cool, I like the colors.......there is something about the glare down the middle that bothers me........overall I wish it wasn't so bright, but with more details and shadows (darker oranges, doesnt have to be black lines) on his beard and face...
